With the approval of the Church Administration, the former members of the Local Congregation of Daly City who reside in Pacifica, a city in San Mateo County, California, were recently organized into a separate local congregation under the Ecclesiastical District of Northwest California.

They held the inaugural worship service of the newly established congregation on September 6, 2022, at the house of worship of the Burlingame Local Congregation along Oak Grove Avenue, Burlingame, CA. It was officiated at by Brother Eduardo Javier, district supervising minister.

After his preaching of God’s words, the pioneering set of Church officers of the newest local congregation in the district took their oath.

“I’m so elated. Praises be to God!” enthused Levy De Dios, who took oath as head deacon.

According to Brother Javier, subsequent worship services of the Pacifica Congregation will still be held at the same venue as the inaugural worship service as “the construction of a house of worship for brethren in Pacifica has already been proposed; it’s at a property the Church owns, and wherein the new district office would also be constructed. The Church Administration has allotted 104 acres” for the said project. — With reports from INC News Section
