Brethren from the local congregations of  Prague, Czech Republic; and Budapest, Hungary in the Ecclesiastical District of Northern Europe participated in an online business seminar on January 17, 2021.The brethren connected from their homes through videoconferencing.

As unemployment continues to rise and business establishments close down across the globe due to the pandemic, the activity launched by the Church Administration proved to be timely and relevant, for it sought to give the brethren valuable insights on starting a small business and earn extra income online. The participants said it renewed their hope for it helped them adapt to the new normal.

In the activity, Marineth Gravela, an online entrepreneur and KADIWA congregation president, shared tips and ideas on how to be successful in the online business. She stated, “I am very happy and blessed that I was able to share my knowledge and ideas not only to inspire other brethren but also for them to have extra income especially in this time of the pandemic.”

Brother Kevin Luth Heitmann, resident ministerial worker, taught and reminded the brethren of the importance of hard work, patience, endurance, and strong faith in the Lord God to surpass various difficulties.

Marineth added, “I never waver in the faith in times of crisis. I always trust the Lord God through prayer. Through His help and guidance, I was able to have my own small online business. It helps my parents in our finances.”

The brethren are grateful for the love and concern shown by the Church Administration not only for the spiritual aspect of their life but also for their day-to-day living. They promised to always be united with Church Administration and be more active in serving the Lord God. ― With reports from INC News Section
