To maintain a healthy body, Buklod members from the Local Congregation of Rome, Ecclesiastical District of Italy South conducted a physical fitness activity on July 18, 2021 in their respective homes.

The brethren gamely followed the exercise routine in the “Fit to Serve” fitness videos produced by the Iglesia Ni Cristo Production Company (INCPC) and is hosted by Jon Lucas, a Philippine celebrity who is a member of the Church Of Christ. This exercise series are meant to encourage the brethren and others to allot time for exercise, especially now that the pandemic has caused many to have a sedentary lifestyle. The Fit to Serve videos are accessible via the INCPC’s social media page and its videostreaming channel.

Some children also joined their parents in the exercises and had quality time with them in the confines of their house. Through the activity, family members not only strengthened their physical body but also their bond with one other as they enjoyed catching up with one another.

“It is fun participating in these activities even online. We can conduct, together with the brethren, exercises that we need, especially in this time of pandemic, for our body to be strong. We thank the Church Administration for this activity,” Tommy Francisco, a deacon, said. — With reports from INC News Section
