On September 18, 2021, the newly built house of worship of the Local Congregation of Sindaton, Ecclesiastical District of Davao del Norte in the Philippines was dedicated to God through a worship service led by the district supervising minister, Brother Israel U. Flores.

During the worship service, Brother Flores reiterated to the brethren the importance of the house of worship to the lives of His true servants as outlined in the Bible. “At this time of pandemic, when poverty has worsened and fear grips the world over, the Lord God all the more listens to the devotional prayers of His people, one proof of which is this new house of worship,” he said.

Together with the other brethren in the local congregation, Marilou Sumatra, a deaconess and the head secretary, felt “blessed” and promises to “take good care of [their new house of worship].”

On behalf of the district, Brother Flores said, “We will continue giving glory to God, remain devoted in all our services of Him, especially the worship services.”

The 110-seater house of worship of Sindaton Congregation is located approximately 40 kilometers north of the district office in Tagum City. During its construction, a temporary place of worship was built for the brethren on an adjacent property of the head deacon, Gerry C. Sumatra.

The local congregation is one of the 44 local congregations the Ecclesiastical District of Davao del Norte supervises. — With reports from INC News Section
