Brethren from the Ecclesiastical District of Southern Africa participated in the regional cooking challenge on April 17, 2021 hosted by the Ecclesiastical District of United Arab Emirates. Eight districts competed via videoconferencing and showed the brethren’s skills in cooking.

Southern Africa District chose Luphole Jaji, Siyawandisa Ketani, and married couple Sinethemba and Stephanie Ketani to be the representatives to compete in CWS, KADIWA, and Buklod categories.

The brethren enjoyed the friendly cooking competition and proudly showcased their talents and skills along with the brethren from other districts. Siyawandisa Ketani got the second-place winner for the KADIWA category.

Thankful to the Church Administration for allowing such activity, KADIWA district president Mark Anthony Gonzales Olaviaga said that the cooking challenge not only highlighted their cooking skills but also helped in strengthening the brethren’s faith. ― With reports from INC News Section
