THE EXECUTIVE MINISTER of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, inaugurated the New Era University School of Management (SOM) building on August 8, 2019. With members of the university community bearing witness, the Executive Minister and his wife, Sister Lynn Manalo, led the ribbon-cutting ceremony signifying the official opening of the five-storey building along Central Avenue in New Era, Quezon City.

Afterwards, Brother Eduardo Manalo made a quick tour of the building.

The facility has 34 fully air-conditioned classrooms, 19 offices, three computer laboratories, three student lounges, two multipurpose halls, various rooms allotted for continuing professional development and short-term courses, a series of interlocking rooms that can host meetings for up to 500 people, and a library.

In an interview, NEU President Dr. Nilo L. Rosas expressed the university’s gratitude to Brother Eduardo V. Manalo. “All the infrastructure developments that you see around the New Era University campus are through the support, assistance, and guidance of our beloved Executive Minister,” he said.

The School of Management (SOM) building will house three colleges of the University: the College of Business Administration (CBA), the College of Accountancy (COA), and the College of Computer Studies (CCS).

After touring at the SOM, Brother Eduardo Manalo greeted the many NEU students, faculty, members, and staff who waited outside the new building and braved the rainy weather to personally express their heartfelt thanks to the Executive Minister.
