In service to the community and out of concern for the environment, Iglesia Ni Cristo members from the Local Congregation of Bugang Sur and Riverside Extension, Ecclesiastical District of Bohol joined hands to clean up their neighborhood in Barangay Bugang Sur, Bilar, Bohol, Philippines on August 16, 2021.

Led by Brother Edwin Escamilla Jr., resident ministerial worker, the brethren cleaned of trash and debris the more-than-one-kilometer stretch from the congregation’s house of worship to the Loay Interior Road.

Romualdo Hilot, Bugang Sur head deacon, said, “We aim to promote the cleanliness of our community’s surroundings, together with the joy of working together as brethren in the faith.” Grateful to the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, for his concern for their spiritual welfare, he conveyed the congregation’s resolve to always participate in the activities being launched by the Church Administration. — With reports from INC News Section
