The Church Of Christ’s work of propagation never ceased although the pandemic has brought unprecedented challenges for many people. The brethren remain united in upholding their sacred task of sharing their faith. By God’s grace, more and more people are called to be members of the true Church in different parts of the world.

One such place is the province of Bukidnon, Philippines’ fourth largest province, located in the heart of Mindanao.

On December 11, 2020, the Ecclesiastical District of Bukidnon reaped the abundant fruits of the Church’s propagation works in the province, referring to new members who received baptism.

In one of the sites of the baptisms, the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Valencia City, Brother Alnorfo Jurada, district supervising minister, led the holy baptism that started at 9:00 in the morning.

At the same schedule, Brother Clarito Capili, assistant district supervising minister, led the holy gathering at the Sultan Alonto Local Congregation’s house of worship. And at 3:00 in the afternoon, he officiated yet another baptism in the house of worship of Maramag Local Congregation.

In all venues, the baptismal candidates and the brethren who accompanied them observed prescribed measures for everyone’s safety from the pandemic.

More significantly, after their baptism, the new members solemnly took their oath of allegiance to the Lord to completely live by His teachings for His glory and for their salvation on the appointed day.

Brother Elorde Brandares, minister of the gospel, said, “The baptism that was held recently in our district shows our unity with the Church Administration in the intensive propagation of God’s words so that more people will be called in the Church and attain salvation. We thank Brother Eduardo V. Manalo for the wonderful opportunity given to us for this activity came into fruition. These are all for God’s glory.” — With reports from INC News Section
