Buklod members from the Local Congregations of Kuala Lumpur, Bangsar, and Subang Jaya in the Ecclesiastical District of Malaysia jointly held the Buklod INC Unity Games on May 29, 2022.

The inter-local Buklod Unity Games featured basketball and bowling matches. The basketball tournament was held at the Sports Garage in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia, while the bowling tournament was at Ampang Superbowl in Jalan Imbi, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Participants followed the health and safety protocol in the said activities.

“I am happy to be one of the players in this basketball tournament. It is my favorite sport. It is a good exercise,” said Dan Carreon, a Buklod officer. “INC Unity Games has always been an activity that the brethren look forward to every year. When the pandemic struck, we couldn’t conduct this activity. Finally, after two years, we are eager to participate in this activity in person.”

James Jabadan, a Buklod officer, played in the bowling tournament. “My family and I are happy and blessed that we were able to be part of this activity in our district.”

“In this activity, the brethren were revitalized and invigorated by showing their unity and camaraderie. We thanked the Church Administration for always looking after the physical, mental, and spiritual welfare of the brethren,” Brother Uziel Bongares, the assistant district supervising minister, who was present during the activity, said. — With reports from INC News Section
