Buklod officers from the Local Congregation of Pointe Claire, Quebec in the Ecclesiastical District of Ottawa spearheaded a blood pressure and glucose monitoring activity on June 19, 2021.

Brethren gathered at the Pointe-Claire place of worship compound to participate in the activity while observing the health and safety protocols.

“Promoting health is very important during this time of the pandemic. As a frontliner, we see that many people are busy and so occupied with the different problems they face and tend to neglect their health condition,” said Catherine Cuera, a nurse and Buklod officer.

Brethren had their blood pressure and blood glucose levels assessed and were then given a written record for future reference.

“We do promise, especially with the part of the Church officers, that we will use our life and strength in the performance of our duties inside the Church and we will be one with the Church Administration in caring for the members of the Church Of Christ in leading them all in the rightful way of serving God and more so the attainment of salvation,” said Melvin Ibañez, resident minister. ― With reports from INC News Section
