In line with the Norwegian government’s campaign of encouraging establishments and homes to reduce food waste, the leadership of the Buklod organization in the Stavanger Norway Group worship Service(GWS), Ecclesiastical District of Northern Europe recently held a seminar on Food Waste Management.
The online conference of married Church members held on December 19, 2021 sought to impart to them essential information and guidelines on food waste management in the home.
Noel Aniel, a deacon and a Buklod officer, served as the resource speaker. Aniel, who has been in the food service industry for a decade and has worked in different restaurants in multiple countries, shared his insights as well as practical tips about food management. Furthermore, the attendees learned ways to cut food loss.
Before the activity concluded, Brother Rodel Mallare, the GWS’ assigned minister, gave a short biblical lecture. He advised the brethren that “The food that we have everyday is a blessing from our Almighty God. We should always cherish what God has given us and let us not waste them. We should be grateful as it is one of the sources of energy that our body needs to be able to continue in our services to our Lord God.” ― With reports from INC News Section
