Buklod officers from the Local Congregation of Göteborg, Sweden, in the Ecclesiastical District of Northern Europe spearheaded a carpentry seminar on March 13, 2021. Many husbands and fathers attended through videoconferencing and learned basic carpentry.

Kage Eriksonn, a Buklod member, led the carpentry seminar. He shared with the brethren his skills and expertise in wood structure and window framing. He also gave the brethren solutions, ideas, and tips about simple home repairs.

The brethren were given the opportunity to ask about the usual problems they encounter at home after the seminar.

“I made sure to attend this activity because I believe that having basic carpentry skills is a must for a husband and a father, and this is something that I will surely teach my son in the future as well,” said Brandon Bolander.

He added, “Seminars like this are important because through it, we learn new skills that can be useful at home and, at the same time, we are able to participate in Church activities.”

Audie Brillantes, Göteborg’s head deacon, said, “Having this activity is a great benefit to all of us. More importantly, it helps us stay close and united.” ― With reports from INC News Section
