Buklod brethren from various local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Thailand participated in a district-wide online seminar dubbed “Keep a strong healthy mind and body” on January 3, 2021.
The Buklod district officers spearheaded the activity. Each local congregation had a resource speaker who discussed about families and careers, social life, health, and performing Church duties.
Rodolfo Costales, Buklod president from the Local Congregation of Bangyai, stated, “This kind of activity helps attendees gain valuable insights in order to successfully cope with various problems or stressors. What we learned is truly beneficial.”
Brethren listened carefully to the facts and knowledge contributed by the speakers. They learned the importance of good habits like regular exercise, a healthy routine, eating the right food, maintaining an active social life, discovering one’s passion, and most importantly, prayerfulness.
Salve Paet, a deaconess from the Local Congregation of Bangyai, said, “Having a positive outlook about the trials and challenges that we face in this life will greatly contribute to achieving success.” She added, “Applying what we have learned from the seminar, especially concerning the efficacy of prayer, provides hope in the face of problems.”
The brethren promised to the Lord God that they will be steadfast in the faith and will continue to fulfill their Church duties come what may. ― With reports from INC News Section
