Buklod Night brings joy to couples in Gensan

Held on January 9, 2022, the Buklod Night organized by the Local Congregation of General Santos City, Ecclesiastical District of General Santos City, South Cotabato, brought joy and laughter to the attendees.
Held at the PiNNoy Stars Convention Center & Resort in Barangay San Isidro, General Santos City, Philippines, the activity proved to be a night of faith-uplifting entertainment and great food. Buklod Night is an annual formal event for married members of the Church Of Christ.
“My wife, Mary Claire, and I are both happy. This is our first time to experience this kind of occasion in the Church since we are newlyweds,” said Jason Perea, a Buklod member.
The KADIWA, Binhi, and Children’s Worship Service (CWS) organizations prepared entertainment numbers for the married couples. Musically talented Buklod members also took the stage to perform song numbers. Adding more delight were the fun games that were also facilitated during the activity.
Before the program ended, awards such as the “Sweetest Couple of the Night,” “Picture-Perfect Couple,” “Best Dressed,” and “Most Participative,” among others, were given to select couples. All couples received gifts especially prepared for them.
“We are happy to have spent quality time with our respective spouses,” said Rustico Arco, with his wife Margarita beside him in an interview. — With reports from INC News Section
