The organization of married brethren inside the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) from the Ecclesiastical District of Italy North sponsored a blood donation drive on October 23, 2021, in cooperation with the Ospedale San Raffaele, Segrate, Milan, Italy.
“This is a privilege to be of help to our fellowmen through this activity,” Jenny Labasan, Buklod member, said of the humanitarian activity which was held under the auspices of the district leadership.
“The whole district is united with all the activities our Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, launches for these are all for God’s glory,” said the district supervising minister, Brother Dyland Ramos.
Church members first gathered at the place of worship of the Local Congregation of Milan. After a prayer and reminders from the district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer, Brother Randolf Villajuan, they rode a bus courtesy of the Ospedale San Raffaele.
“Il beneficio principale è di fare una cosa buona per gli altri e di fare una donazione. Per il singolo donatore, il vantaggio di tener controllati i propri esami, poter fare una visita periodica degli esami, controllare il proprio stato di salute (The main benefit is to do a good thing for others and to make a donation. For the individual donor, the advantage of keeping their [physical] exams checked, being able to make periodic examinations, is keeping watch of their health),” said Dr. Millena Coppola who was with the said hospital.
She added, “Noi vi ringraziamo per aver collaborato con noi e vi ringraziamo a nome di tutti i pazienti che ne avranno il vantaggio (We thank you for working with us, and thank you on behalf of all the patients who will benefit from it).” — With reports from INC News Section
