In commemoration of the Buklod organization’s 58th anniversary, married couples from various local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Calamian were strengthened in the faith through a special gathering on December 11, 2020.

Reymond and Caryl Diaz, Buklod couple from the Local Congregation of Coron, narrated what they learned from God’s words taught in the holy gathering. Reymond said, “We were taught to be role models to our children, teaching them God’s commands. As parents, it is our duty to the Lord God to teach our children the proper way of serving Him.”

Sixteen local congregations, including the Local Congregation of Coron where Brother Arnel Tuyay, the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer officiated, served as venues for the special gathering in the district to accommodate more brethren while observing health and safety protocols.

Brother Gerino Lalata, district supervising minister, officiated at the Local Congregation of Salvacion while other ministers and ministerial workers at their respective houses of worship. Part of the holy occasion is the oath-taking of new officers. They promised to perform their solemn duties come what may to their lives.

“We taught the brethren God’s teachings for them to have a better and peaceful married life. Even the proper way of raising a family and rearing their children are included in the sermon,” said Brother Gerino.

The brethren are grateful for the love and concern of the Church Administration. They promised that they will all the more be active in serving the Lord God and give glory to Him. ― With reports from INC News Section
