The first baptism for 2023 in the Ecclesiastical District of Bulacan South yielded hundreds of converts as they received true baptism inside the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) on January 21, 2023 at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Meycauayan.

Brother Eraño Fabella, assistant district supervising minister, officiated at the baptismal service, in which he reiterated to the would-be members the vital qualities that God seeks from His servants, one of which is remaining faithful to His commands. Doing so until the end, will ensure them of inheriting eternal life in heaven.

Among those who were instrumental to the conversion of the newly baptized brethren were the Garcia couple. Graciano, a Society of Communicators and Networking International (SCAN) member from the Local Congregation of Batia, said, “We invite our loved ones and friends to the missionary works of the Church for them to know the truth and eventually join the Church Of Christ.”

His wife, Ferlyn, enthused, “We share our life experiences [as Church members] with those in the process of joining the Church and encourage them to be steadfast in the faith until they reach their most awaited [day of] baptism.”

The Ecclesiastical District of Bulacan South, one of the five districts in the province found in Central Luzon, Philippines, is under the leadership of Brother Eufracio Castillo Jr., district supervising minister. Consisting of 32 local congregations and seven extensions, its district office stands within the chapel compound of the Meycauayan Congregation. — With reports from INC News Section
