Brethren in the Ecclesiastical District of Bulacan West extended aid to their fellowmen in the island of Pamarawan in Malolos, Bulacan, at the same time, sharing with them the true faith, through an outreach-evangelical mission, held on August 19, 2022.

“This outreach-evangelical mission in Pamarawan is just the beginning of the many propagational efforts to be held in the other islands within our district,” Brother Librado V. Santos, the district supervising minister, said.

Hundreds of Pamarawan residents attended the outreach program and received care packages containing several food items. The outreach activity came after the evangelical mission during which Brother Santos preached a Bible-based lesson.

“We are so glad that even though our place is hard to reach yet the Iglesia Ni Cristo has come here to our barangay and provided aid to the residents here,” said Mr. Cesar Bartolome, Pamarawan Barangay Captain.

As helping those in need is a command of God, Brother Santos, explained that, “Holding propagational activities is in accordance with God’s commandment, which is to teach people the right way of serving God and the way to salvation.”

Pamarawan Island is west of Malolos, Bulacan, Philippines. Waterways navigable by motorized banca separate it from the mainland and its southern border opens into Manila Bay. — With reports from INC News Section and Bryan Banlaolay
