
Expected to be of great help to their fellow brethren-students, as another school year in the Philippines begins, a Technical and Creative Writing webinar sponsored by the Christian Brotherhood International (CBI) leadership from the Ecclesiastical District of Bulacan was held on September 12, 2021.
Nesllie S. Fabros, KADIWA district officer and an English teacher from the Local Congregation of San Pedro, served as the keynote speaker. After showing the differences between technical and creative writing, she discussed various ways to improve one’s writing skills, such as developing a reading habit, learning how to make an outline as part of the pre-writing process, and always being mindful of their word choice.
Samantha Gadrega, an attendee from the Local Congregation of Baliwag shared about knowledge she gained from the seminar. “Knowledge like these are important. We could use these in our subjects, one of which is Literature. This will even help us in the future when applying for a job,” she said. — With reports from INC News Section
