
Young members from four local congregations in Bulacan East Ecclesiastical District near Hulo, San Mateo, Norzagaray, Bulacan, Philippines joined the tree planting activity spearheaded by the KADIWA district officers on February 19, 2022.
“We invited our fellow young brethren from the local congregations of San Mateo, Bigte Ibaba, Bigte Itaas, and North Hills Village, being those nearest at the venue of this activity,” said Ezra Betita, a KADIWA district officer from the Local Congregation of Muzon. “Fortunately, they joined us.”
“It felt heartwarming that our area was chosen to be the venue,” enthused Byron Reyes. In return, he and other KADIWA officers from the Local Congregation of San Mateo assisted not only in finding the respective suitable location of but also in properly planting guava, avocado, and assorted vegetable seedlings.
“We won’t let their efforts be wasted. We will come back here often to make sure that these seedlings will eventually sprout and bear fruit,” he added. —With reports from INC News Section
