The year-end socializing activity of the Local Congregation of Burlington, Ecclesiastical District of Southern Ontario, held on December 25, 2022, brought not only joy and laughter to the brethren but also a chance to grow closer as brothers and sisters in the faith.
William Alcopra, KADIWA officer, who emceed the socializing, shared that “it’s such a wonderful perspective. You get to see the smiles, hear the laughter and cheers of the brethren as they bond. Watching my brethren enjoying all throughout the activity is such a gratifying experience. Having seen how much this event has strengthened us in the faith behooves us to keep conducting more activities.”
Brother Ramil Macaspac II, resident minister, led the brethren in a prayer of thanks to God for His bountiful blessings to the congregation throughout the year.
Afterwards, various fun-filled activities organized by the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) officers, such as the Buklod Acronym Guessing Game and KadBin Tagalog Translation Challenge, were played. Old and young members who actively participated in the said activities were duly awarded. Winners took home prizes. Also, talented brethren performed several musical numbers.
District supervising minister, Brother Raul Adalla, and assistant district supervising minister, Brother Jay Acuña, graced the event. — With reports from INC News Section
