For the many young members of the Church who have photography as their hobby or point of interest, the KADIWA leadership of the Local Congregation of Cabanatuan City in the Ecclesiastical District of Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija in the Philippines, sponsored a photo contest on September 21, 2021.

Many of the participants used their mobile devices in taking photos. Subjects ranged from flowers, landscapes, as well as the architectural details of their local congregation’s house of worship. As observed by the organizers, the activity drew out the creativity of the brethren.

After the allotted time given to them was finished, the participants forwarded their entries to the panel of judges and were scored according to the criteria of judging―50% creativity, 30% originality, and 20% aesthetic value. At the conclusion of the contest, the following emerged as winners: Juliana June Cruzada from Area 1, Marc Chester Castillo from Area 2, and Clarisse Ann Bordomeo from Area 3.

Church activities such as this not only help the brethren hone their skills and talent but also provide an avenue for the brethren to remain connected. ― With reports from INC News Section
