“It is indeed a blessing to share my faith,” Joshua Daniel Betoy, from Carmen Congregation, expressed with regards to participating the Church’s missionary works such as in the evangelical mission held by the Christian Society for the Deaf (CSD) in the Ecclesiastical District of Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental spearheaded on July 2, 2021.

As a CSD district vice president, Joshua, along with fellow officers, led the CSD members and other brethren from the district in inviting their classmates, coworkers, acquaintances, and loved ones to connect and attend the said propagational activity via videoconferencing.

The study of God’s words written in the Bible was led by Brother Benjamin Pelias, district supervising minister. It was interpreted into Sign Language by Brother Jonell Macaron, a ministerial worker.

One of the guests, Renier Jane Gaid, recalled how she got interested in the teachings upheld by the Church Of Christ. “I was randomly talking with my friend about religion. In order to answer my questions about the Church, he sent me a link of the Youtube channel of the Iglesia Ni Cristo Evangelical Mission. The video tackled about the importance of being a member of a one true religion.”

That is why when the opportunity came to be invited in an evangelical mission, she accepted it. Right after the event, she decided to further study the words of God and enlisted herself as a doctrinal instructee.

“I continuously learn about the Church by reading religious articles from the official websites of the Church. What’s interesting about these sites is that they also tackle about Christian living, our relationship with God and Jesus Christ, and on how to righteously face common problems that we are experiencing from time to time especially in this time of pandemic,” she further said.

“With or without pandemic, it is very important to share our faith to many people because through joining the Church, they would attain salvation. So, I will always help the Church Administration in further intensifying the propagation of God’s words,” Joshua promised. — With reports from INC News Section
