Continuing the Lingap sa Mamamayan (Aid to Humanity) in the recently typhoon-afflicted places in the Philippines, the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) gave aid to the community of Barangay Linao East through the Ecclesiastical District of Cagayan South on November 25 and 30, 2020.

Both Church members and nonmembers in the area who were severely hit by Typhoon Ulysses received goodwill bags. Health and safety protocols were strictly followed in the event.

Upon receiving the goodwill bags, the typhoon survivors expressed their gratitude and appreciation. “This is truly a great help to us.” said Joey Baquiran, a Church member, whose home was flooded with rainwaters. Another Church member, Rheymond Pascian, added, “I thank our Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo. We may be far from him in distance yet the Church Administration still does its best to reach out to us.”

Gaspar Siblawan, Church member, said, “I thank the Church Administration for having concern to us and our fellowmen.” — With reports from INC News Section
