On April 4, 2022, young members from the Local Congregation of Birmingham, England in the Ecclesiastical District of United Kingdom got together for a cake decorating activity that the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) organized for them. The activity was held at their house of worship’s function hall.

Kristine Jeanne Gante, a Children’s Worship Service (CWS) teacher, said that the activity was good for the children to learn new skills. “Maybe it’s something that some of the participants would want to pursue in the future. Also, through this, we are able to bond together,” she added.

Gante led the participants in using icing to design a cake. She demonstrated how to decorate the cakes and then invited the other Binhi and CWS members to try it out as well. Other KADIWA members then showed the younger participants how to decorate cakes by using icing in a piping bag.

Afterwards, the participants each designed cupcakes using chocolate fingers, chocolate buttons, fruits, and sprinkles.

“I enjoyed the cake decorating activity together with my friends,” Odin Mercado, a CWS member, expressed. — With reports from INC News Section
