One and united, Church Of Christ members in the Ecclesiastical District of Calgary, in Canada, invited guests to an evangelical mission and a “Welcome, My Brethren” activity which were held back-to-back at the Cardel Recreation Center on June 27, 2022.

In the evangelical mission, Brother Rolando Gaviola, district supervising minister, preached God’s words. Through his Bible-based sermon, he presented to the guests the biblical proofs that there is a need to seek and join the true Church Of Christ to attain salvation come Judgment Day.

“This evangelical mission was held district-wide in response to the call of the Church Administration to intensify the work of sharing our faith so that not only many, but all people may come to know the truth written in the Holy Scriptures,” said Brother Johnny Adalla, ministerial worker assigned in the Local Congregation of Spruce Meadows.

After the preaching of the words of God, the attendees were treated to the “Welcome, My Brethren” segment of that day’s event. The guests were treated to musical performances of the brethren in the district.

“This is the first time I’ve seen a huge gathering of the Church Of Christ. So it was quite a surprise and there’s so many people who are all friendly and welcoming,” expressed Joanna del Rosario, one of the guests in the event.

When asked about her reaction on the activity, Ronalyn Catienza, another guest, conveyed, “I think I would like to continue listening to the teachings of the Iglesia Ni Cristo, because I want to learn what I should truly believe in when it comes to religion.” — With reports from INC News Section
