Clusters of neighboring local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Calgary, Canada, united their efforts in inviting and bringing along nonmember loved ones, friends, and officemates at evangelical missions simultaneously held on April 17, 2023.

In the district’s northern area, the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Forest Heights served as the activity’s venue, with Brother Voltaire Tamisin, district supervising minister, officiating. The brethren there, together with those from the local congregations of Capitol Hill, Falconridge, Pineridge, and Royal Oak filled the house of worship with guests.

The local congregations of Riverbend, Downtown, Heritage Park, and Spruce Meadows, which are at the district’s southern area, held their evangelical mission at Mahogany Community Hall, 29 Masters Park SE, Calgary. The preaching of God‘s words there was led by Brother Ramil Macaspac, assistant district supervising minister. “Our Lord Jesus Christ made us lights of this world, that is why we will continue our dedication in this noble endeavor,” said Brother Macaspac.

The officiating ministers taught from the Bible the importance of being inside the true religion to be pleasing before God’s sight and thus be worthy of receiving His blessings, especially salvation on Judgment Day.

Among the attendees, Kzeilyn Pesigan, currently a doctrinal instructee in Forest Heights Congregation, enthused, “This activity really motivates me to attend more of the Bible studies, for these enlighten me about the importance of the true Church Of Christ.” — With reports from Kaitlyn Padillo of INC News Section
