The Ecclesiastical District of Calgary conducted a simultaneous evangelical mission on September 12, 2022, in two large-capacity venues as every local congregation in the district had beforehand committed to bringing a multitude of guests to listen to the pristine gospel of salvation.

Brother Ramil Macaspac, the assistant district supervising minister, officiated at the evangelical mission held at the Falconridge Community Association while, Brother Christopher Salabit, the district secretary, preached at The Glenmore Inn & Convention Centre.

Brethren from local congregations in the southern part of Calgary brought their guests to the former and those from the northern part of the city accompanied their guests to the latter.

Edlyn Solo, a deaconess from Heritage Park Congregation, said, “It is one of the commandments of God to bear fruit, and I believe if we keep inviting people, and if they will accept in their hearts the true Church and become a member, we will benefit as well.”

Brother Dale Vargas, the resident minister of the Local Congregation of Heritage Park, said, “We’re so happy that the brethren, even exhausted from their work, were still united in sharing their faith. The venue was filled with guests. We thank God for a successful night.”

“I was amazed that all of the answers for the questions came from the Bible,” Jericho de Guzman, a guest, said. — With reports from INC News Section
