A “Welcome, My Brethren” activity was held in the Ecclesiastical District of Calgary, Canada and gave the candidates for baptism a warm reception in the Church on December 19, 2021.

With the Local Congregation of Downtown, Alberta as host site, the brethren, together with the prospective members, attended on-site while strictly following the health and safety protocols implemented by the government. Other brethren participated in the activity through livestreaming.

The highlight of the activity was the preaching of God’s words by Brother Rolando Gaviola, district supervising minister. Through the Bible, he emphasized the significance of being active in serving the Lord God. He then exhorted the prospective members to actively share the true faith to their fellowmen and loved ones so that they, too, will have the opportunity to receive salvation on Judgment Day.

Afterwards, goodwill bags and grocery items were distributed to the candidates for baptism as token of appreciation. — With reports from INC News Section
