The Ecclesiastical District of Capas, Tarlac hosted a leadership enhancement training seminar and team building workshop for the KADIWA and Binhi presidents in the local congregations of the district. The activity, which aimed to further equip the youth leaders with knowledge and skills needed in the performance of their duties, was held on November 30, 2022 at the function hall of Villa Marina Resort in Brgy. Sta. Lucia, Capas, Tarlac, Philippines.

During the seminar, the youth leaders were taught about delivering service excellence, critical thinking and resourcefulness, and teamwork. The speakers were Marwin Juanta (district KADIWA president), Sharmaine Jane Esguerra (district KADIWA vice president), and Edriel Lance Nicolas (district KADIWA officer).

“Through this kind of seminar and team building activity, the presidents received further training in leadership. This will help them be more capable in fulfilling their duties and lead their fellow KADIWA and Binhi members in their respective congregation,” Esguerra, said.

During the workshop that followed, the KADIWA and Binhi local congregation presidents participated in several interactive games and activities that emphasized to them the importance of cooperation and teamwork.

“This seminar taught us many things: the importance of unity, helping one another for a common goal, and of sharing information. We also became acquainted with officers from other local congregations,” Elldhon Garcia, Binhi president of the Local Congregation of Sta Juliana, said. “These are all beneficial for us as we lead our fellow young members.” — With reports from INC News Section
