Children’s Worship Service (CWS) officers from the Ecclesiastical District of Capas, Tarlac in the Philippines attended a special gathering at the house of worship of Capas Local Congregation as the host site on December 1, 2020.

Brother Joselito Canlas, assistant district supervising minister, officiated the special gathering.

Other CWS officers attended in their respective households through videoconferencing. Because of this, their “parents were also able to attend” according to Micaella Rivera, a CWS teacher.

Through the special gathering, the CWS officers once again felt how the Church Administration continues to support them as they fulfill their Church duties in guiding the CWS members—the children under their care.

“The Children’s Worship Service is important because the worship service is a commandment of God and there His words are being taught to guide His servants in their life and in their service to Him, and this is important for the children because in the early years of their lives they are being guided in the Christian way of living,” Tristan Mendoza, CWS teacher from the Navy Local Congregation, said. “Even in this time of pandemic, children attend worship services in their respective households to take care of their faith.”

“This special gathering all the more intensified our hope, faith, and fervor in fulfilling our duties because we were reminded about the importance of worship services and thanksgiving to the Lord God,” Tristan expressed.

“We thank the Church Administration for allowing us to hold this special gathering that was also streamed online to follow the current health protocols,” said Brother Efren Manalo, district Light Of Salvation overseer. — With reports from INC News Section
