More officers in the Children’s Worship Service (CWS) in the Ecclesiastical District of Capiz took their oath during a special gathering at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Roxas City on October 16, 2021. With this development, the district got a boost in the number of dedicated Church officers looking after the spiritual welfare of the children in various local congregations.
Brother Edgardo Gonzales, district supervising minister, officiated the sacred occasion, wherein he reminded the congregants about the value and role of Church officers inside God’s nation. After the homily, Brother Cyrus Sab, district edification overseer, administered the oath-taking.
The newly sworn in officers represent additional help to the Church Administration in caring for the welfare of the children enlisted in the CWS in the local congregations in the district. Among those who took oath were new CWS teachers tasked to impart Bible-based lessons during the children’s worship service held every Sunday.
“Through these special gatherings, I am filled with joy because I am reminded that the Church Administration continues to care for us [in the CWS],” Meriel Aldea, a CWS teacher, said. “With the increase in our number, we can further help the Administration in taking care of the children in the Church.” — With reports from INC News Section
