Reaping the fruits of the brethren’s nonstop efforts in sharing the true faith, the Ecclesiastical District of Capiz conducted two baptisms for the month of January and its first ones for the year 2022; both baptisms were held on the 10th.

Both baptisms were held at the baptismal pool of the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Roxas City, in the province of Capiz, Philippines. In the morning, the district supervising minister, Brother Edgardo Gonzales, led the service prior to the baptism proper, while the assistant district supervising minister, Brother Aser Alas Jr., officiated at the sacred occasion in the afternoon.

Each of the officiating ministers taught a Bible-based lesson that highlighted the importance of being a member of the Church Of Christ. They reiterated to the baptismal candidates that such not only have the right to render true services to God, but most especially, have the hope of receiving salvation on the Lord Jesus Christ’s Second Advent.

One of the newly baptized brethren who received a great blessing from God at the start of the year was Adalfa Villas. “I am so happy now that I am a member of the Church. I will strive to do my best in my services until I receive salvation,” she expressed. Currently, she is registered in the Local Congregation of Dayao. — With reports from INC News Section
