To help care for the environment, Church members from the Ecclesiastical District of Carcar City, Cebu joined hands in conducting a cleanup drive at the Balamban Public Park in Balamban, Cebu, Philippines on October 24, 2022.

Strategically located adjacent to Balamban Baywalk, and close to Balamban Lighthouse, the park is a favorite spot of locals and tourists to walk around and enjoy the sceneries.

Spearheaded by the ministers and ministerial workers, together with the head of each household, the brethren worked hand in hand in collecting scattered trash which they disposed of properly.

“We hope that the collective effort of the brethren in participating in the cleanup drive will give inspiration to other people to also help in protecting the environment,” Brother Mark Lloyd Andrade, resident ministerial worker of the Balamban Congregation, said.

“It’s gives me joy to participate in this kind of activity because I get the chance not only to help preserve our environment, but most especially, to heed God’s command of doing good whenever we can,” said Irish Kyle Lascano, choir member from the said congregation. — With reports from INC News Section
