Before 2022 ended, the Ecclesiastical District of Carcar City, Cebu, conducted consecutive baptisms, reaping more fruits of the propagational efforts in this part of the Philippines.

The said baptisms were held at the houses of worship of the local congregations of Carcar City and Maingit on December 23 and 24, respectively. Brother Marlon Francisco, assistant district supervising minister, officiated both gatherings.

“In each of the baptismal gatherings, the baptismal candidates were reminded through the Bible that the Lord God requires Church Of Christ members to be obedient to His commandments, which include complete renewal of life, devotion to congregational worship services, loving the brethren, as well as the unity with the Church Administration,” Brother Francisco said.

“I am thankful to the Almighty God for calling me and my family inside the true Church. We have much joy in our hearts right now,” Gerardo Mamac, one of those who were baptized in Carcar City, said. “The teachings of God taught to us inside the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) are clear and will remain in our hearts forever. We promise to serve God with all our might, until the end of our lives.”

Together with him, his wife, Felisa, also received baptism that day. — With reports from INC News Section
