Carles Congregation celebrates 60th anniversary

To the members of the Local Congregation of Carles, Ecclesiastical District of Iloilo North, the celebration of their congregation’s anniversary this year was doubly special as they were able to attend, through livestreaming, the worship service officiated by the Executive Minister of the Iglesia Ni Cristo on April 14, 2023.
In that special occasion, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, led the dedication of the new worship building of the Local Congregation of Ilugin, Ecclesiastical District of Metro Manila East. Before he began his homily, he extended his greetings to the brethren from other local congregations given link to the worship service, which were gathered in their respective houses of worship in commemorating their milestone anniversaries.
That included the Carles Congregation, which reached its 60th founding anniversary the following day, April 15, 2023.
Brother Quenry Cataque, a resident ministerial worker, led the brethren gathered in their house of worship. “The brethren in our congregation are glad and happy because we received instructions and teachings of God from our beloved Executive Minister. It is a wonderful gift for our anniversary,” he said.
“I thank the Lord God because, at the age of 81, I witnessed the preaching of our Executive Minister. I am happy because I witnessed our milestone anniversary,” said Virginia Escaño, a pioneering member of the Carles Congregation. — With reports from Jean Rago of INC News Section
