Catbalogan Congregation reaches 71st anniversary, holds special gathering

March 22, 2023 marked the 71st year of establishment of the Local Congregation of Catbalogan in Western Samar Ecclesiastical District. On that same day, a special gathering was conducted in their house of worship to express the brethren’s deepest gratitude to the Lord God, for His continuous guidance and deliverance.
“I thank God for not abandoning us through the years. Instead, He continued helping us. That is why until now we still remain strong in the faith. To Him be the glory!” said Rey Cañete, head deacon.
The preaching of God’s words written in the Bible by Brother Arnulfo Soliman, district supervising minister, reminded the brethren to uphold their obedience to all of God’s commandments, for them to always please Him and thus be counted worthy of receiving His blessings.
“No matter what, I will stay active inside the true Church,” enthused Amelia Cañete, deaconess.
On behalf of the congregation, Brother Romulo Albao, resident minister, said, “We will continue uniting with the Church Administration in all of the activities inside the Church, especially in the propagation of the true faith.” — With reports from INC News Section
