On January 23, 2021, the Ecclesiastical District of Cavite gave its members from all 55 local congregations free influenza or flu vaccines.

District Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS) and Buklod officers joined hands in organizing this event. “Flu vaccine is proven effective and safe. It is being administered to many people ever since, even before the pandemic,” said Antonio Adolfo. “If one is planning to go abroad, there are countries that require immigrants of flu vaccination certificate.”

District Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer, Brother Carlo Amadeus Verceles, said, “We received this instruction from the Church Administration, through the CFO Coordinator, Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo. Out of their great love and concern, they deemed it necessary to conduct this activity for the brethren.”

Reynaldo Peña Jr., ministerial worker, concurred, “This activity of extending aid by providing free flu shots is truly a great help for every Church officer, especially the ones leading their respective local congregation.” — With reports from INC News Section
