New officers from the Ecclesiastical District of Cavite South in the Philippines took their oath during a special gathering at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of New Era on February 5, 2021.
Brother Bimbo Sicheco, minister of the gospel, preached a biblical lesson about the duties Church officers should fulfill.
“Church officers need the words of God for them to be inspired in performing their duties for them to all the more care for the brethren and prepare them to receive salvation,” Godomer Gubio, minister of the gospel, said.
The attendees were strengthened in the faith for them to continue performing their duties despite problems in life such as the pandemic.
“I am glad for the blessing I received in this special gathering, I learned that I need to be a good role model for my fellow officers and other youth members,” Alexandra Gem Diña, a KADIWA officer from New Era Local Congregation, said.
“I thank the Lord God and the Church Administration for this special gathering. I promise that I will always submit to the Church Administration, I will actively take part in all the activities in the Church, and I will not draw back whatever trials I face in life,” Aiwa Tibi, KADIWA officer from Sabang Local Congregation, expressed. — With reports from INC News Section
