The Christian Brotherhood International (CBI) from the Ecclesiastical District of Micronesia held a seminar on how to create effective slideshow presentations that convey information in an engaging visual manner.

Conducted on February 7, 2021, the online seminar began with Brother Melvin Bayangoan, district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer, welcoming the participating brethren with the opening remarks.

CBI officers Jennifer Sagum and Brigit Tabuena presided over the seminar. As an icebreaker, the participants were encouraged to create a makeshift self-introductory slide using papers and coloring materials as props.

The brethren were then made to join the rooms for them to collaborate in creating a group slideshow presentation based on various topics. Among the things they were taught were properly conveying information, designing presentations, and the use of various template sources.

“We can use the skills that we learned today so we ourselves create a presentation that is easy to understand,” said Makayla Dela Cruz, a Binhi officer.

Tristan Reyes, a choir member, said, “We can use the tips and information that we learned in the seminar to help us not only in our school assignments but also in our future jobs.”

Young students are thankful to the Church Administration for the insightful information they learned in the seminar. They promised to be more active in all Church activities. ― With reports from INC News Section
