Members of the Christian Brotherhood International (CBI) in the Ecclesiastical District of Bulacan, Philippines drew added inspiration in their services to the Lord and in their studies as they were edified in the faith during their special gathering for worship on June 16, 2022.

The CBI is the organization of students inside the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) with chapters in a school or group of schools under the supervision of a set of officers in the district.

Held in the Local Congregation of Sta. Barbara’s house of worship, the said gathering of high school and college students from Bulacan was officiated by Brother Augusto Galapon, the district supervising minister. In his homily, he advised them that to earn a good education and achieve their dreams and aspirations, they ought to abide by the teachings of the Lord God. He exhorted them to keep their spiritual zeal in serving God even as they focus on their studies.

“Holding on to and having firm faith in our Lord God’s promises are the key points this special gathering taught me,” enthused Daniela Talaogon, a CBI member from the Local Congregation of Bagong Barrio, Pandi, in response to the Bible-based lesson.

“It is important for the young members of the Church to be taught of God’s words especially during the times that they are studying. Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, our Executive Minister, wants the youth to be guided by the words of God for them to succeed in their studies and to safeguard their Church membership,” Brother Galapon said in an interview.

“Now that the world is full of temptations and troubles, the Church Administration continues to teach the youth to work hard for a bright future and, most of all, continue in serving the Lord God,” the district minister added. — With reports from INC News Section
