To help one another with their online studies amid the pandemic, Christian Brotherhood International (CBI) members from the Ecclesiastical District of Central spearheaded an activity dubbed “CBI Cares: Study Materials Sharing” on May 1, 2021.

The CBI members, from grade school pupils to college students, shared academic reviewers, e-books, and other references relevant and beneficial for the fellow youth’s studies. Some even took pictures of their personal notes and sent it to whoever needed them.

Sister Summer Castro, a CBI officer from the Local Congregation of New Era University, said, “With the current [pandemic] situation, we have limited reliable resources to improve our way of studying individually. With what we’ve shared, we could be able to help each other excel in our studies.”

Another CBI officer, Kirstenkyle Paras from the Local Congregation of Bago Bantay, said she was thankful for receiving study materials. “I will use them as reviewers for college and entrance exams. These will also enable me to know the coverage of the lessons I will take in senior high school,” she explained.

The Ecclesiastical District of Central, with 23 local congregations, seven extensions, and a group worship service, is one of the seven districts in the Philippines’ National Capital Region (NCR). — With reports from INC News Section
