Being a student, Erica Macaraeg has become good friends with her fellow students, as well as with her teachers. The friendship she built allowed her to invite them to evangelical missions, such as the recent one spearheaded by the Christian Brotherhood International (CBI) in the Ecclesiastical District of Bulacan in the Philippines.

On July 5, 2021, her guests, along with other brethren’s gathered at the house of worship of the San Jose Local Congregation. They learned from the Bible-based preaching of Brother Patrick Garcia, ministerial worker, that although seeking worldly knowledge is important to have a better future, learning God’s wisdom is far more important because it ensures salvation come Judgment Day.

Andrew Teodoro, one of Erika’s guests, said, “I was eager to attend in the evangelical mission from the time I was invited. After listening to the preaching, I was not disappointed because I gained additional knowledge about the words of God.”

“I am thankful to be invited in this event. The lesson taught to us was very timely. I look forward to attend another evangelical mission to learn more about the teachings that the Iglesia Ni Cristo upholds,” said Shamel Asly Maglatang, another guest.

All attendees carefully followed health and safety protocols in the said gathering as the entire province of Bulacan is under General Community Quarantine (GCQ).

CBI is the organization of Church Of Christ members who are in high school and college. The organization maintains chapters in many secondary and tertiary level institutions in the country, including those in the province of Bulacan. — With reports from INC News Section
