CDO City, Misamis Oriental District commemorates Buklod anniversary

Married couples from the Ecclesiastical District of Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental commemorated the 59th anniversary of their organization, Buklod, by holding a special gathering on December 26, 2021. They thanked and praised God for another triumphant year for the organization because of, they firmly believed, His help and guidance.
Brother Benjamin Pelias, the district supervising minister, led the special gathering from the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Cagayan de Oro City. Through videoconferencing, his homily was streamed live to various local congregations and extensions throughout the district. In keeping with government regulations on the number of people that can congregate at a given venue, other brethren joined from the safety of their homes.
“The principle of parents in the Church Of Christ here in our district is to lead their entire family in worship and services to the Lord God marked with devotion and zeal,” Brother Pelias said.
The Buklod members were reminded to fully obey all of God’s commands. They were also exhorted to actively participate in the various activities of their Christian family organization.
The ecclesiastical district comprises of 77 local congregations, 9 Extensions, and 1 Group Worship Service (GWS). ― With reports from INC News Section
