Before 2021 ended, members of the Christian Employees Association (CEA) in the Ecclesiastical District of Zamboanga del Sur conducted a retraining program on December 28, 2021. The site designated for the in-person seminar, which also served as the host site, was the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Aurora. The activity was streamed live to various remote sites throughout the district.

Noli Caldito, the CEA district president and the head deacon of Aurora Congregation shared helpful pointers to the brethren on how to be a trustworthy employee. He reminded the brethren about the importance of having integrity in managing their jobs and livelihood, even in online businesses.

“It is best for us, members of the Church Of Christ, to become known by our employers, investors, buyers, or even people who know us, as having integrity in all things that we do. We should show the people that we are trustworthy and dependable,” he said.

The attendees also learned about various government programs instituted to help citizens, especially those who lost their jobs during the pandemic, get back on their feet. More importantly, Caldito highlighted that “praying to the Lord God to ask for guidance and protection is still the best solution to all problems.”
