In a special gathering held at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Catarman on November 20, 2021, Christian Employees Association (CEA) members in the Ecclesiastical District of Northern Samar in the Philippines were reminded of the importance of upholding Christian discipline even in their work spaces.

“We, in CEA, were reminded to uphold, among others, honesty in our workplace. Most of all, it was reiterated to us to always make our duties to God our top priority in life. It is a great blessing for me to attend in the special gathering,” Emilda Singzon, an organist and an elementary teacher, said.

The holy gathering, which was held in connection with the commemoration of the organization’s 35th anniversary, was officiated at by the district supervising minister, Brother Isaias Antinew.

“As my parents raised me in serving our Lord God, [now that I am already working] I will keep on helping out in the activities [of the Church] and unite with the Church Administration. I will make serving God my top priority,” Emilda added.

“We are thankful to the Executive Minister because through this special gathering for the Christian Employees Association the faith of the members and their bond with one another is further strengthened,” said Brother Ruel Dela Cruz, district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer. — With reports from INC News Section
