Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from the Ecclesiastical District of Cebu City, Cebu, Philippines united in sharing God’s truth about salvation with their fellow Cebuanos during the evangelical mission held on March 18, 2022.

Upon learning of the propagational event, the brethren prepared by, among others, thinking of ways by which they could cordially invite their loved ones and friends. One of them, Davie Tagacano, from the Pardo Congregation, said, “I sent direct messages to them through my social media accounts, politely asking them to attend the evangelical mission.”

The brethren accompanied their guests to one of three houses of worship, namely, that of the local congregations of Cebu City, which served as the host site; and of Pusok and Mandaue City, to which the preaching of God’s words was streamed lived.

The officiating minister, Brother Joel San Pedro, who is also in charge of the Church’s Overseas Mission Office, emphasized that according to the Bible, one needs to be redeemed by Christ’s blood in order for one to receive salvation and everlasting life. He then pointed out that it is the Church Of Christ that benefited from Christ’s redemption for which reason He bids anyone who wants to be saved to join it.

“I gave myself a chance to come here [in the evangelical mission] even though I’m busy,” said Maribel Sadora, a guest. “I think this is a good opportunity to know more about the Church Of Christ. And, it’s a good thing.” — With reports from INC News Section
