Choir members from the Ecclesiastical District of Central in the Philippines attended a special gathering on January 31, 2021 as part of their preparation for greater participation in the Church’s work of propagation further intensified this year.

Brother Antonio de Guzman Jr., minister of the gospel, officiated at the sacred occasion from Chapel 1 in the Pilar Manalo-Danao Multimedia Center, streamed live to the house of worship of Templo Central Local Congregation and several other houses of worship that served as remote sites.

In his homily, he preached from the Bible that one should put his heart and soul in the works of the Lord such that he steps up his efforts in sharing the true faith to other people.

Through the sacred gathering, the choir members received additional strength and inspiration toward greater spiritual fervor as they fulfill their duties and join in the holy works of the Church.

“One that imprinted on my mind was that a choir member’s duty does not end in singing hymns of praise to God, but one should also bear fruits of holiness such as helping in the work of propagation and believing that God will help in doing this,” Gabrielyn Gem Guinto, choir member from Templo Central Local Congregation, said. — With reports from INC News Section
