The Ecclesiastical District of Bulacan West recently reached its first anniversary of establishment and through the CFO Day held on May 5, 2023, its leadership launched a month-long celebration of God’s abundant blessings.

“It is God Who continues helping us in the Church’s holy endeavors,” the district supervising minister, Brother Librado Santos, avowed. “In the past year, many officers in the Church were added, the district was able to held outreach-evangelical missions in various communities and has established two local congregations and extensions.”

The fun-filled event held at the Bulacan Sports Complex in Malolos, Bulacan, Philippines provided wonderful opportunities for the entire family—members of the various Christian Family Organizations—to boost their bonds with each other and with other brethren, providing a conducive environment for spiritual growth.

“This kind of activity approved by the Church Administration brings additional enthusiasm to the brethren as they continue serving the Lord,” said Brother Ken Marion Ramos, district CFO overseer. “We can also see their eagerness to even more help in the works of the Church.”

Kicking off with a parade of colors, the CFO Day also served as a launching stage for the Unity Games slated on a later date—the parade was followed by the athletes’ oath of sportsmanship.

The athletes, together with other brethren, donned in their respective teams’ colors of green, white, red, blue, and yellow, formed a human monogram at the grounds of the venue greeting fellow brethren on their district’s first anniversary.

The celebration also featured performances of original Christian music by Buklod, KADIWA, Binhi, and Children’s Worship Service (CWS) members, which gave added inspiration to the audience and performers alike.

“As we prepare for this activity, the brethren were very excited and determined to give our best efforts because we are inspired in participating in various activities,” enthused Mileah Sison, one of the performers and a choir member from the Bulusan Congregation. “This is also our way of showing our unity with the Church Administration.”

“We also thank Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, the Executive Minister, for guiding, advising, and inspiring us to uphold complete obedience to God’s commands,” Brother Santos said. — With reports from Jimuel Orbase III of INC News Section
