A tour organized by Christian Family Organizations (CFO) leadership of Ecclesiastical District of Italy South brought together brethren from the local congregations of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) within the city of Rome—Roma Centro, Roma Nord, and Roma Sud. The CFO Rome Tour was held on September 18, 2022.

The resident ministerial workers of the said congregations, Brothers Gerome Moratalla and Mrren Amore St. Barbara, led the brethren in the activity.

The walking tour began at the Piazza del Popolo (People’s Square). From there, the brethren visited the city’s famous landmarks such as the Fontana di Trevi (Trevi Fountain), known for its late Baroque architectural style; Piazza Venezia (Venice Square), located at the center of four major roads in Rome; and the historical Colosseum, known as the largest amphitheater built by the Roman Empire.

Not only did the activity give the brethren a chance to admire the architectural wonders of Rome but most importantly gave them a chance to spend time together, further strengthening the bond of Christian brotherhood.

Felix Ortillada, one of the participants, said in Italian, “I thank the Church Administration for approving this kind of activity. This gives us a great opportunity to build stronger bonds.” —With reports from INC News Section
